Merit Pathway provides educational consultancy and migration strategy. We do not guarantee visa approval, as this decision lies solely with the relevant embassies.
Nor do we guarantee admission to any institution, the award of any scholarship, or the outcome of any language examination. We advise, prepare and submit; the decisions belong to third parties.
You agree to provide information and documents that are complete, accurate, genuine, and lawfully obtained. You confirm that every document you submit to us, whether through our Client Portal or by any other means, is authentic and relates to you.
You agree to tell us promptly if any information you have given us changes, including previous visa refusals, immigration history, criminal matters, or changes to your academic or employment record.
Submitting a forged, altered, or fraudulently obtained document is grounds for immediate termination of our services without refund. We may be required to disclose such matters to the relevant authorities, and we will do so where the law obliges us.
We are not liable for any refusal, delay, ban, or other consequence arising from information you supplied that was inaccurate, incomplete, or false, or from information you failed to disclose.
We provide a Client Portal for you to submit documents and follow the progress of your application. Access is by an email link and is limited to clients we have invited.
The Portal is provided as a working tool, not as a storage or archive service. You should keep your own copies of everything you upload. We may remove documents in line with the retention period stated in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep the Portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures in services we rely on. Where the Portal is unavailable and a deadline is approaching, contact your advisor directly and we will arrange another way for you to send your documents.
You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can request a sign-in link. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to your email or your Portal account.
All consultancy fees become non-refundable once payment is made. Work on your file begins immediately upon payment, including profile assessment, document review, and the reservation of advisor time.
This applies whether or not you go on to submit an application, and whether or not you continue to engage with us. It applies equally to consultation fees and to full consultancy packages.
Fees paid to us do not include third-party costs. Application fees, visa fees, language examination fees, credential evaluation fees, courier charges, and similar costs are payable by you directly to those providers and are governed by their own terms.
Payments are processed securely via our partners. We do not store your card details.
You may stop working with us at any time by telling your advisor in writing. Fees already paid are not refunded, as set out above.
We may end the engagement where you supply false documents or information, where you ask us to act unlawfully or dishonestly, where you are abusive to our staff, or where you become unreachable for a prolonged period. Where we end it for any of these reasons, fees already paid are not refunded.
We are not responsible for changes to immigration laws by foreign governments or university admission decisions.
Nor are we responsible for delays or decisions by embassies, institutions, examination bodies, or credential evaluators; for changes to fees or requirements imposed by third parties; or for losses arising from documents you supplied that were inaccurate or incomplete.
Where we are found liable to you, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost earnings, lost study places, or travel and accommodation costs booked before a decision was issued.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you engage us is the version that applies to your engagement. Where a change is significant, we will tell you.
